Debs Nails

I don't know if many of you know this but this week I had my Debs! If you're not Irish then the debs is pretty much like prom! A night that starts off glamorous and classy and ends with beer stained dresses and missing ties! It's great fun though and I'd do it all again tomorrow if I could!
My nails on the night got more compliments than ever! So I thought I'd do a quick post and show you!
I bought fake nails from boots. A box of 200 plain old nails. I stuck them on and then just painted them as if they were my own nails. I have pretty long nails myself anyway but they weren't in great shape so I thought these would look better!

It's basically just a purple polish with some silver glitter polish and a few silver rhinestones here and there!
Barry M Gelly Hi-shine in Plum, Barry M nail paint in diamond glitter and just a wheel of rhinestones I picked up from Dealz :)

The night itself was just so good! I brought my best girl friend (because boys are stupid) and I had the best time.

See what I mean about the missing ties??;)

I hope you liked the post and thanks for reading!

My nails... again!

I know I only posted a Nail post the other day but I was doing my nails today and they actually turned out pretty cool if I say so myself! And what's even better is they are sooo easy to do. You don't even need any nail art tools, just a few different colour polishes and you're good to go!

Missguided MissTaken Orange Nail Splash, €6.43 here
China Glaze For Audrey, €6.80 here
China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, €6.80 here
Sally Hanson Diamond Strength, €12.15 here
Pennys/Primark Nail Polish in Posy. (not sure where this is available online, sorry!)

1. Paint your nail a base colour of your choice.
2. Using a second colour, and a 'step' pattern, paint the nail in striping motions, making each one shorter than the last.
3. Do the same again with a third colour.
4. Apply a top coat to smooth out the design and give it a beautiful shine!

And hey presto, you have a really cool, funky nail design that involves little effort and no special tools!
I really love this design and was so happy with how it turned out! Of course you could use what ever colours you wanted, you could use less colours or even more colours! I think I might do it again but maybe use just two colours, using one of the colours twice! What do you think?!
Let me know if you try this! And if you do pleaaaasee send me a picture on twitter!

Graduation Nails with Nubar and Urban Decay.

Soo, a few things have changed since I last posted! First of all, I have finally finished school forever, I've finally finished the cursed Leaving Cert and I'm also newly single gal..but hey on the bright side, it means I have no more distractions so I can get my blog up and going properly this time!

This is kind of a delayed post but for my Graduation last month I really liked my nails soooo I thought I'd show you!

I stared off by painting all my nails this really nice baby pink/violet colour, which is called Strawberry by Nubar. I really like this colour and the nail polish itself is such good quality and I could probably go a full week without it chipping off!

I wanted to ''jazz'' it up a bit so I added some of Urban Decay's polish in Ziggy to my ring finger. This polish came in the Holiday Nail Kit so I'm not too sure if you can still buy it or not, but a lot of brands do a glitter similar to this so I'm sure you could find a good alternative!

Btw, I'm very sorry about the bad quality pictures! I took them on my iPhone the night of my Graduation so I do apologise that they aren't the best!

I'd definitely recommend the Nubar polishes though because I think they are really good, and my collection of them is growing by the day!
If you've tried either of these polishes please let me know what you thought about them! :)

Bye for now! xo

Nails!

HELLLOOOOO!
Look whos being all regular with her posts for once ;)

Okay so one of my biggest obsessions is doing my nails so I decided I should show you what colour is on my nails RIGHT NOW :)

The polish I used is China Glaze Happy Go Lucky! I love this colour because its so bright and in your face.. I love it :)

My nails right now are pretty plain, as I usually have crazy designs and patterns painted on. I told you, I have an OBSESSION. I could spend hours and hours doing my nails (I actually have) and I'd never get bored:)

If you'd like to see some of these nail designs just let me know and I'm sure I can sort something out for ye ;)

bubyeee :)
