Nails!

HELLLOOOOO!
Look whos being all regular with her posts for once ;)

Okay so one of my biggest obsessions is doing my nails so I decided I should show you what colour is on my nails RIGHT NOW :)

The polish I used is China Glaze Happy Go Lucky! I love this colour because its so bright and in your face.. I love it :)

My nails right now are pretty plain, as I usually have crazy designs and patterns painted on. I told you, I have an OBSESSION. I could spend hours and hours doing my nails (I actually have) and I'd never get bored:)

If you'd like to see some of these nail designs just let me know and I'm sure I can sort something out for ye ;)

My Daily Face Products!

Hello again!
I realise it's been a long long time since I last posted, and that's mainly because I just never have time :( But who cares, I'm here again and I've got a new post for you all. yahooo ;)
So as you can see from my title up there ^^ , this is going to be all about what I use on a day-to-day basis!
Pretty much all of my makeup that I use is drugstore, and although I switch and change around alot, this is what I've been using recently for everyday makeup!

So first off, I moisturise and prime my face using Clean&Clear dual action moisturiser and Maybelline Dream Smooth Primer. I really like the moisturiser as its oil free and I have combination/oily skin! As for the primer, its not my favourite. I use it because the bloody thing was €15 and I don't want to waste it, but in my opinion there are better primers available in the drugstore for a way better price. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Depending on my skin that day, I'll choose between Rimmel 9in1 BB cream in light or Revlon Colourstay in Buff. If my skin is in pretty good condition I'll use the BB cream as it gives me just the right amount of coverage and stays on forever! If my skin is looking kinda shitty, then I'll reach for my holy grail foundation, Revlon colourstay! I'm sure you've all heard about the hype of this foundation and believe me, IT IS AMAZING. I apply both using a flat top kabuki! Mine is from Blank Canvas Cosmetics, which is an amazing Irish brand!

For my eyebrows, I use the Catrice Eyebrow Set! I love this thing and mine is well and truly battered! I've had this for probably nearly a year now and although its hit pan, I'll still get another while out of it yet. It does the perfect job at defining my brows and whats even better? Its only €5 :) yaaay!

For concealer, I use Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer in Ivory (their lightest shade) for any blemishes I have and it works good enough! Not sure I'll repurchase it though as I have used better! I also use the Catrice Light Reflecting concealer for under my eyes and it just gives a really nice natural glow under my eyes. It doesn't have much coverage but I don't suffer from bad under eye circles so its not a problem for me :)

To set my makeup, I use Maybelline Fit Me powder, which I really love. Its a very fine powder so it doesn't leave you looking cakey, but it still sets my foundation and reduces shine, and giiirrrrl do I get shiny!

On to eyes! This Barry M eyeliner is just amazing! So creamy and soft yet stays in place all day! I usually tight line before mascara and sometimes apply to my bottom waterline too, but sometimes if I feel like a more natural look I use this white kohl eyeliner from Rimmel. I like this because it makes my eyes look more awake and bigger! For mascara I've been liking the Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express in 100% black and I have to say I really like it! Maybelline mascara in my opinion are amazing and not too expensive either!

So, if I feel like contouring, I always use the Blank Canvas Cosmetics Contour Palette! I picked this up at the Irish Beauty Show at the start of March and I love it! I use the darkest shades to contour and I also like to use the others shades as a highlight, face powder and a blush! I really love this as it has so many uses and is so inexpensive but also great quality!

Finally for the lips! I'm not a big lipstick or lip gloss fan and usually only tend to use them on nights out or special occasions! So on a day-to-day basis, I usually stick to good ole' reliable carmex :) This stuff is just so lovely AND it smells so good! I have the cherry one which is just about all gone, and since I ''borrowed'' it from my boyfriend I have no idea where I can buy it in Ireland as we only seem to have the original here! :( If anybody knows, pleaaaaaseee help a girl out!

So that's it!
Again, I'm sorry for the lack of posts, I'm gonna get back to it I promise ;)
I'd much rather write blog posts everyday instead of studying for this god damn leaving cert but yeno, its gotta be done!
I hope you enjoyed and please feel free to leave me a comment or contact me with any post requests and shtuff :)

Boohoo Partypose Outfit Entry

Hello again :)
So, I seen a blog post about the Boohoo #partypose outfit contest, and as I LOVE Boohoo and all of their clothes, I thought I'd give it ago and enter :)
And as Boohoo says, - You've got to be in it to win it :)

In case anyone reading this is unaware of what boohoo is, they are on online clothes website, who have a wide range of clothes to suit everyones styles. Their prices are pretty good too!
(If you want to check them out, just click here )

Here is my outfit choice!

Kate Sequin Sleeveless Skater Dress.
I chose this dress because it's really pretty, but also very wearable! The sequined detailing is very subtle, but adds a nice ''christmassy'' feel to it, which is what drew my attention to it! It prices at £20! (absolute baragin!!)
You can purchase this dress here .

Harper Stud Shoulder Curved Hem Blazer
I fell in love with this blazer when I seen it! The fit is really attractive, and the gold detailing on the shoulder makes it look that little bit more dressy. I picked the cream colour, because I thought it would contrast really nicely with the black sequined dress!
The price of this blazer is £30 and you can get it here .

Allesandra Black Studded Wedge Shoe Boots
I picked a pair of black wedges, as they are SO much easier to walk in the other heels! And these ones that I found are so pretty. The spiking detail on the heels adds some edginess to the shoe without it being in your face. These wedges are £35 and you can get them here

Jemma Embossed Skull & Stud Clutch Bag
First of all this bag is yet again another bargain, and also so so pretty! I chose this so that it would match with the blazer, as I didn't want the outfit to be all black. I chose a clutch bag because it is much easier to carry around, especially when you're at a party. The last thing you want is to be carrying a big sack under your arm all night long! This clutch is priced at £15 and is available here

And thats my outfit! I decided not to include any jewellery, as I think it may be too overpowering on the outfit. And, yes, I stayed within the budget! Whoo :)

I would definitely wear this outfit, and may even buy this to wear during the Christmas holidays!
If you want to see more of these amazing clothes, make sure you go and visit Boohoo NOW! :)

Cheap and Easy Facial Cleanser

Homemade facial cleanser.

Facial cleaners can be extremely expensive, and although a lot of them work very well, I have found one simple low cost product that has worked better for me than any of the cleansers I have ever purchased!

Yep you got it! It's oatmeal! Any sort of oatmeal will do. I like using this Odlums Quick and Easy porridge oats simply because its in a handy container and it has sooo much in it! It's so cheap, and many of you probably already have it in your kitchen somewhere!

How to use it:
  1. Soak your face completely with warm water,
  2. Take some oatmeal in your hand, (not too much, about half a handful)
  3. Wet the oatmeal slightly with warm water. Don't completely soak it!
  4. Massage gently over face. I find its best to rub in circular motions into your skin.
  5. Rinse skin thoroughly with warm water and pat dry with a towel.
Of course, you can use it however you like, but I find this method to work best for me.

The oatmeal is very gentle on your face, so it would be suitable for those of you with sensitive skin. I myself have combination/oily skin, and I have found my skin (especially my t-zone) is less oily after using the oatmeal.

I use this every night after I have removed my makeup with Simple's face cleansing wipes, and afterwards I just moisturise using Clean&Clear Double Action Moisturiser :)

This method has been working really well for me for the last few weeks. My skin feels so much softer and looks a lot more glowy since starting to use the oatmeal!

I hope you find this helpful! Please let me know if it works for you too, or if you have any other cheap alternatives for face cleansers!
